2026-05-22 — AstraZeneca announced it will present new oncology and rare-disease data at the ASCO Annual Meeting (May 29–June 2, 2026), with more than 85 abstracts covering 10 approved and 13 investigational medicines (25 oral presentations). Key planned disclosures include: Phase III EMERALD-3 (IMFINZI®/durvalumab + IMJUDO®/tremelimumab-actl ± lenvatinib with TACE) in unresectable, embolization-eligible hepatocellular carcinoma; Phase III SERENA-6 (camizestrant + CDK4/6 inhibitors) including final PFS2 and ctDNA clearance data in 1L HR+/HER2– advanced breast cancer with emergent ESR1 mutations; Phase III TROPION-Breast02 (DATROWAY®) additional efficacy endpoints in 1L metastatic TNBC not eligible for PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors; and Phase III POTOMAC (IMFINZI + BCG) five-year overall survival and PROs in high-risk non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer. AstraZeneca/ Alexion also highlighted CARES Phase III results for anselamimab (anti-fibril therapy) in AL amyloidosis with a κ/λ subgroup analysis, positioning it as a potential first-in-class rare-disease therapy.
