June 4, 2026: Immutep Limited (ASX: IMM; NASDAQ: IMMP) announced it will present first-in-human Phase I data for its autoimmune candidate IMP761 at the EULAR Congress in London on June 4, 2026 (poster session at 1:30 pm UK time). The ongoing randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind Phase I study in healthy volunteers (NCT06637865), run by CHDR in the Netherlands, uses a KLH challenge model to assess early pharmacologic activity.
In the single ascending dose portion, the trial met its primary endpoint, showing favorable safety and tolerability across dose cohorts (0.9–7 mg/kg). Pharmacodynamic findings included reduced local inflammatory responses and attenuated T-cell activity versus placebo, with the 7 mg/kg cohort statistically significantly better than placebo for skin blood perfusion (p=0.029). Pharmacokinetics support once-every-4-week dosing. The company said the results support further Phase II evaluation in T-cell–mediated autoimmune diseases (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis) and noted additional trial updates are expected in H2 CY2026.
