Ampligen (rintatolimod) with Imfinzi (durvalumab) - (DURIPANC)

June 8, 2026: AIM ImmunoTech Inc. (NYSE: AIM) provided a mid-year interim clinical progress update for the ongoing Phase 2 DURIPANC study (NCT05927142) evaluating Ampligen (rintatolimod) in combination with AstraZeneca’s anti‑PD‑L1 Imfinzi (durvalumab) in metastatic pancreatic cancer patients with stable disease after FOLFIRINOX. The company said it recently enrolled the final patient (subject to any disqualifying pre-treatment circumstances) and remains on track to evaluate the primary endpoint in December 2026: Clinical Benefit Rate (CBR), defined as stable disease/partial response/complete response (progression-free disease) at 6 months (24 weeks) after starting combination therapy.

DURIPANC is described as investigator-initiated, exploratory, open-label, single-center, expected to enroll up to 25 subjects, and is a collaboration among AIM, AstraZeneca, and Erasmus Medical Center (Netherlands). Secondary/exploratory objectives include overall survival, progression-free survival, immune monitoring, and quality of life.

The release also cites prior Ampligen monotherapy data from a 57-subject Named Patient Program in late-stage pancreatic cancer (median survival 19.7 months vs 8.6 months historical standard of care; improved quality of life), including a subgroup with neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio <4.5 (median survival 34.8 months vs 12.5 months historical controls). AIM noted it is planning next development steps, including a potential pivotal Phase 3 trial combining Ampligen with a PD-1 inhibitor.
