May 28, 2026 — Eli Lilly and Company announced it will present new cardiometabolic data at the American Diabetes Association’s 86th Scientific Sessions (June 5–8, New Orleans) and host an investor event on June 6 (6:00 p.m. CDT) to discuss meeting disclosures.

Key Phase 3 results highlighted include retatrutide (investigational once-weekly GIP/GLP‑1/glucagon triple agonist): in TRIUMPH‑1, up to 70.3 lb (28.3%) mean weight loss at 80 weeks in adults with obesity; in TRANSCEND‑T2D‑1, A1C reductions up to 2.0% and weight loss up to 36.6 lb (16.8%) at 40 weeks in adults with type 2 diabetes.

Lilly also outlined Phase 3 ACHIEVE program data for Foundayo (orforglipron), described as an oral GLP‑1 with no food/water restrictions: ACHIEVE‑2 A1C reduction up to 1.7% vs 0.8% with dapagliflozin (40 weeks); ACHIEVE‑3 superiority vs oral semaglutide with better A1C reduction and 73.6% greater relative weight loss (52 weeks); ACHIEVE‑5 A1C reduction up to 2.1% vs 0.8% placebo when added to insulin glargine (40 weeks). Additional ATTAIN analyses reported >14% weight reduction in peri-/post-menopausal women in ATTAIN‑1.
