June 12, 2026: Cogent Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: COGT) announced presentation of preclinical data at the 2026 European Hematology Association (EHA) Congress (Stockholm, June 11–14, 2026) for its novel JAK2 V617F mutant-selective inhibitor, CGT1145, targeting BCR-ABL-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs). The poster describes CGT1145 as a potent JAK2 V617F inhibitor with >100x selectivity over wild-type JAK2 and JAK1/3 isoforms, with high oral bioavailability and low clearance across species. The company states CGT1145 has potential to eradicate JAK2 V617F MPN-propagating cells and induce molecular remission with improved hematologic tolerability. Cogent said CGT1145 remains on track for an IND submission in 2026. The release notes JAK2 V617F occurs in ~95% of polycythemia vera and ~50% of primary myelofibrosis or essential thrombocythemia. Cogent also indicated the EHA posters/presentation will be available on its website.
