Ampligen (rintatolimod) with Imfinzi (durvalumab) - (DURIPANC)

June 18, 2026: AIM ImmunoTech Inc. (NYSE: AIM) reported that the final subject received their first dose in DURIPANC, an investigator-initiated, exploratory, open-label, single-center Phase 2 trial evaluating Ampligen (rintatolimod) plus AstraZeneca’s anti–PD-L1 Imfinzi (durvalumab) in metastatic pancreatic cancer (collaboration with AstraZeneca and Erasmus Medical Center).

Primary endpoint (clinical benefit rate at 24 weeks: stable disease/partial response/complete response) analysis is expected to begin in December 2026, with topline results anticipated in Q1 2027. Secondary endpoint analyses are expected to begin in June 2027 (~49 weeks after the final subject’s first dose) and include overall survival, progression-free survival, and immune profiling/biomarkers to potentially inform Phase 3 trial design.

The release also cites prior AIM/Erasmus Medical Center Named Patient Program data for Ampligen monotherapy in late-stage pancreatic cancer, reporting improved outcomes versus historical controls in biomarker-defined subsets (e.g., neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio <4.5: PFS 17.7 vs 8.6 months; OS 34.8 vs 12.5 months; CA19-9 <1000: PFS 13.1 vs 8.6 months; OS 24.1 vs 12.5 months) and improved quality-of-life reports.
