May 19, 2026 — Edesa Biotech, Inc. (Nasdaq: EDSA) announced it will present new exploratory analyses on paridiprubart (EB05), its first-in-class anti‑TLR4 monoclonal antibody, at the 63rd European Renal Association (ERA) Congress (June 3–6, 2026; Glasgow). The accepted oral presentation (June 5, 4:30 pm local) will focus on data from Edesa’s study in patients with respiratory distress who also developed acute kidney injury (AKI), a high-mortality condition with no approved targeted drug therapies.
The company stated its Phase 3 data show a “consistent, statistically significant reduction in mortality” in AKI patients and plans to present additional supporting analyses at the meeting. Edesa highlighted paridiprubart’s host-directed mechanism (TLR4 inhibition) as a rationale for addressing hyperinflammation implicated in AKI and related critical illnesses, positioning the program as a potential targeted therapy in an area of major unmet clinical need.
