May 07, 2026 — Neumora Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: NMRA) reported first-quarter 2026 financial results (quarter ended March 31, 2026) and provided a pipeline update. The company said its Phase 3 KOASTAL-2 and KOASTAL-3 trials of navacaprant (kappa opioid receptor antagonist) in major depressive disorder were fully enrolled in Q1 with >400 patients per study, and a joint topline readout (including pre-specified analyses of >450 patients enrolled after early-2025 study optimizations) is expected in Q2 2026.

Neumora reiterated plans to report data in 2H 2026 from a multiple ascending dose expansion cohort of NMRA-511 (vasopressin 1a receptor antagonist) in Alzheimer’s disease agitation and to start a Phase 2 study in Q1 2027; it also noted prior Phase 1b results showed an “unsurpassed effect size” with no somnolence/sedation reported. For NMRA-898 (M4 positive allosteric modulator) in schizophrenia, Phase 1 MAD data are expected in 2H 2026; NMRA-215 (NLRP3 inhibitor) in obesity is targeted to enter the clinic in Q1 2027.
