May 21, 2026 — AbbVie announced it will present multiple new oncology datasets at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago, highlighting progress across its Topoisomerase I inhibitor (Top1i) antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) platform and T‑cell engager (TCE) portfolio.
Key clinical results cited include: (1) ABBV‑969, a first‑in‑class bispecific ADC targeting PSMA/STEAP1 in heavily pretreated metastatic castration‑resistant prostate cancer, with confirmed objective response rate (ORR) 45% (29 RECIST‑evaluable patients), PSA50 responses 67% and PSA90 responses 28% at active doses, with manageable safety; (2) ABBV‑706 (SEZ6‑directed ADC) in second‑line small cell lung cancer monotherapy cohort (n=17), ORR 82% at the recommended Phase 3 dose (1.8 mg/kg), with comparable safety to prior reports; (3) telisotuzumab adizutecan (ABBV‑400; Temab‑A), a c‑Met ADC, showing antitumor activity in biomarker‑unselected platinum‑resistant ovarian cancer and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma in a Phase 1 basket study; and (4) etentamig (BCMA×CD3 TCE) in heavily pretreated, BCMA‑exposed relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma, with ORR 64% in patients previously treated with BCMA CAR‑T (n=11), MRD negativity 67% (2/3 evaluable), median duration of response 13 months, and grade 1–2 CRS only (57%) without step‑up dosing.
AbbVie stated these investigational assets are not yet approved; the data support continued development across solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
