Rademikibart - (Seabreeze STAT Asthma)

June 17, 2026: Connect Biopharma Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: CNTB) announced completion of enrollment in the Phase 2 Seabreeze STAT Asthma trial of rademikibart (anti-IL-4Rα monoclonal antibody) as an adjunct to standard of care for acute asthma exacerbations in adults/adolescents with type 2 inflammation. The global, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study enrolled 160 participants with eosinophils ≥300 cells/µL; participants receive a single subcutaneous dose of rademikibart or placebo. Primary endpoint is treatment failure rate over 28 days; key secondary endpoint is post-bronchodilator FEV1 at Week 1 (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT06940141). The company expects to report Seabreeze STAT Asthma topline data in early September 2026.

Connect also said it is on track to complete enrollment this month in the Phase 2 Seabreeze STAT COPD trial (also 160 participants; similar design/endpoints; eosinophils ≥300 cells/µL; NCT06940154) and expects topline data for the COPD study soon after the asthma readout. The company plans to meet with the FDA later in 2026 to align on a Phase 3 program. It also stated it has cash runway into 2H 2027.
