November 6, 2026: Phio Pharmaceuticals Corp. (NASDAQ: PHIO) said it will present final Phase 1b data for PH-762, an INTASYL siRNA candidate, at the 41st Annual Meeting of the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) in Phoenix on November 7, 2026.
The presentation, “Neoadjuvant Phase 1b Results: Dose Escalation of Intratumoral PH-762 for Cutaneous SCC, Melanoma, or Merkel Cell” (NCT06014086), covers PH-762 as a neoadjuvant intratumoral injection for cutaneous carcinomas, including cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and Merkel cell carcinoma. The company said the final Phase 1b findings suggest PH-762 is well tolerated and may have efficacy, with statements indicating tumor shrinkage before surgery and potential use as a tissue-sparing neoadjuvant alternative to Mohs micrographic surgery and/or standard excision in cSCC.
No detailed efficacy metrics were provided in the release. Phio said additional studies are needed, and a Phase 2b study is planned for the first half of 2027.
