Nov. 3, 2026: Nurix Therapeutics (NASDAQ: NRIX) said Sanofi will discontinue the Phase 1 first-in-human trial of SAR448272, an oral STAT6 degrader, and terminate the SAR448272 program. As a result, Nurix said it no longer expects to receive future development, regulatory, or commercial milestone payments or royalties tied to SAR448272 under the companies’ collaboration.
Nurix said the decision does not affect its other licensed Sanofi programs, for which it remains eligible for milestones and royalties if Sanofi advances them. The company also said the announcement does not change its cash runway guidance; it reported $1.1 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities as of Aug. 31, 2026, which it said is sufficient to fund operations into the second half of 2029.
Other pipeline updates mentioned: bexobrutideg, a BTK degrader partnered with Roche, is in Phase 3 for chronic lymphocytic leukemia; NX-1607, a wholly owned CBL-B inhibitor, is in multiple Phase 1b cohorts in lung, colon, and prostate cancer and melanoma; and GS-6791/NX-0479, an IRAK4 degrader partnered with Gilead, is advancing through Phase 1 trials in rheumatoid arthritis.
