Nexiguran Ziclumeran (nex-z)

November 3, 2026: Intellia Therapeutics (NASDAQ: NTLA) announced upcoming November conference presentations of new Phase 1 data for nexiguran ziclumeran (nex-z) in hereditary transthyretin amyloidosis with polyneuropathy (ATTRv-PN).

At the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions 2026, an analysis of cardiac outcomes after a single dose of nex-z in patients with ATTRv-PN with mixed phenotype/cardiac involvement will be presented on November 9, 2026 (Poster #12). The poster title indicates inclusion of patients with transthyretin amyloidosis with cardiomyopathy or hereditary transthyretin amyloidosis with polyneuropathy.

At the International Society of Amyloidosis 2026 Symposium, long-term Phase 1 follow-up data will be presented on November 18, 2026 (Poster #156), including up to four years of follow-up on durability, outcomes, and safety in ATTRv-PN.

The release does not disclose the clinical results themselves, but identifies these presentations as near-term data catalysts. Nex-z is also being investigated in the Phase 3 MAGNITUDE trial in ATTR-CM and MAGNITUDE-2 in ATTRv-PN. The company states the program has FDA Orphan Drug and RMAT designations and European Commission Orphan Drug designation.
