November 3, 2026: BriaCell Therapeutics (NASDAQ: BCTX, BCTXL; TSX: BCT) and BriaPro announced four preclinical presentations for the SITC 2026 Annual Meeting (Nov. 4-8, Phoenix).
Bria-OTS+ (Abstract 863, Nov. 6): In vitro data on the allogeneic whole-cell vaccine platform showed activation of dendritic, NK, NKT, CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, with increased activation markers, cytokine production, proliferation, and cytotoxicity. It also activated PBMCs from cancer patients and showed broad tumor recognition, sustained cytotoxicity, and memory-like responses across breast, prostate, and lung cancer models.
BP-80 (Abstract 404, Nov. 7): The soluble CD80-Fc fusion protein showed CD28 co-stimulatory activity and counteracted CTLA-4-mediated inhibition in cell-based assays. In cynomolgus monkeys, BP-80 had a no observed effect level of 50 mg/kg/day and a half-life of 8.08-8.92 hours.
TILsRx-001 (Abstract 405, Nov. 6): This tumor-targeted CD80-based checkpoint inhibitor antagonized PD-L1-mediated immune inhibition in cells co-expressing B7-H3, supporting further investigation to enhance tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte activity.
Engineered CD80 variants (Abstract 406, Nov. 7): One variant showed over 130-fold stronger PD-L1 binding than wild-type CD80; another increased CTLA-4 affinity about fivefold while preserving CD28 affinity.
