Volixibat - (VISTAS)

November 2, 2026: Mirum Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: MIRM) said it will present liver disease portfolio data at AASLD The Liver Meeting 2026 (November 5-9, Denver).

Brelovitug (chronic HDV): late-breaking Phase 3 AZURE-1 primary 24-week results will be presented November 8, with Mirum stating the study showed efficacy and safety across a broad HDV population. The company also highlighted prior September 2026 disclosure that AZURE-1 met its primary combined endpoint of virologic response plus ALT normalization at Week 24 in both dose arms. Additional November 8 and November 7 presentations will cover beyond-Week-24 Phase 2b AZURE-1 data and a Phase 2 extension in cirrhosis, showing deepening viral suppression, increased ALT normalization, and biochemical/virological improvements.

Volixibat (PSC): new Phase 2b VISTAS analyses at the meeting will cover pruritus benefit across baseline itch severity, fatigue and sleep, and an IBD subgroup showing pruritus improvement without worsening IBD activity. Mirum reiterated that VISTAS met its primary endpoint in 2026 with statistically significant, clinically meaningful pruritus reductions.

LIVMARLI/maralixibat (ALGS, PFIC, other cholestatic diseases): posters will present clinical and real-world evidence on treatment outcomes, caregiver burden at 12 months, PFIC patients with compound heterozygous variants, and pruritus burden in biliary atresia. Mirum also noted that in October 2026 the Phase 3 EXPAND study met its primary endpoint and all five prespecified secondary endpoints.
