Nov. 2, 2026: Monopar Therapeutics (NASDAQ: MNPR) announced two AASLD The Liver Meeting 2026 presentations on ALXN1840 (tiomolibdate choline, TMC) for Wilson disease, scheduled for Nov. 5–9, 2026 in Denver.
For the Phase 3 FoCus trial, an oral presentation on Nov. 8, 2026 will report baseline findings on residual hepatic, neurologic, and psychiatric disease burden in treatment-experienced Wilson disease patients; a companion e-poster will also be available on the AASLD website. A separate poster on Nov. 5, 2026 will present molybdenum balance data, titled “Neutral Molybdenum Balance and Lack of Molybdenum Toxicity in Subjects Treated with Tiomolibdate Choline Supports Safety Profile of TMC.”
The release also states that in the pivotal Phase 3 trial, ALXN1840 met the primary endpoint, showing rapid and sustained copper mobilization significantly greater than standard of care over 48 weeks in previously treated and untreated patients. Monopar said durable clinical improvement and a favorable safety and tolerability profile were observed across 645 patient-years of follow-up in 266 patients.
Upcoming catalysts mentioned: the Nov. 5, 2026 poster presentation and the Nov. 8, 2026 oral presentation at AASLD 2026.
