October 29, 2026: Acrivon Therapeutics (NASDAQ: ACRV) said dose-escalation data from its ongoing Phase 1/2 ACR-2316 trial will be presented in a late-breaking oral plenary session at the 38th EORTC-NCI-AACR Symposium on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics on November 20, 2026. ACR-2316 is an oral WEE1/PKMYT1 inhibitor.
The company reported durable monotherapy activity in heavily pretreated, AP3-predicted solid tumors, especially lung and endometrial cancers. In lung cancer patients with a median of three prior systemic lines, one squamous NSCLC patient with four prior lines achieved a confirmed complete response by RECIST 1.1, including a complete metabolic response by FDG-PET, after a prior confirmed partial response. A partial response was also seen in small cell lung cancer, and several lung adenocarcinoma patients remained on treatment for more than one year. Safety to date was described as favorable, with adverse events primarily limited to transient, asymptomatic neutropenia.
The study has moved into dose expansion and is evaluating AP3-predicted, molecularly defined lung, endometrial, ovarian, cervical, esophago-gastric junction, and pancreatic cancers. The company also added PDAC for further investigation, citing KRAS-pathway biology and potential WEE1 synthetic lethality in KRAS gain-of-function/TP53 loss-of-function tumors. Other pipeline updates: ACR-368 remains in a potentially registrational Phase 2 trial in endometrial cancer; ACR-7280, a CDK11 inhibitor, is in IND-enabling studies for AML.
