IM1240 - (CAPTN-3)

October 29, 2026: Purple Biotech Ltd. (NASDAQ/TASE: PPBT) announced that an abstract on IM1240, the lead tri-specific antibody from its CAPTN-3 platform, was accepted for an oral plenary presentation at the 38th EORTC-NCI-AACR Symposium on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics in Barcelona. The presentation is scheduled for November 20, 2026 at 15:00 CET.

The presentation will cover preclinical data for IM1240 in treatment-resistant human tumor models, including its multi-arm mechanism of action, the contribution of NKG2A engagement, and pharmacokinetic and safety evaluation of CAPTN-3’s conditional CD3 masking approach. The abstract title is “Conditionally activated NKG2A-engaging tri-specific antibody remodels IO-resistant human tumor microenvironments with improved tumor killing and pharmacologic safety” (Abstract ENA26-0137), to be presented by Amir Horowitz, Ph.D., of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Purple Biotech said IM1240 is advancing toward the clinic and that it expects to complete IND-enabling work and, subject to regulatory clearance, initiate a planned first-in-human study in 2027. The company also noted a second CAPTN-3 candidate, IM1305, is in preclinical development.
