October 27, 2026: Pyxis Oncology, Inc. (NASDAQ: PYXS) announced a late-breaking oral presentation at the 38th EORTC-NCI-AACR Symposium on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics (Barcelona, November 18-20, 2026) on micvotabart pelidotin (MICVO) monotherapy in previously treated recurrent/metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). The Phase 1 study presentation (abstract 3LBA) will be given November 19, 2026, in the Proffered Papers: Clinical Trials session.

The company will also present two preclinical MICVO posters on November 18, 2026, in the antibody-drug conjugates session: one on in vitro mechanism of action of the EDB+FN-targeting ADC, and one showing that MICVO combined with EGFR-targeted therapy improved duration of response in HNSCC patient-derived xenograft models.

The release also states that MICVO, formerly PYX-201, has FDA Fast Track Designation for adult patients with recurrent/metastatic HNSCC whose disease progressed after platinum-based chemotherapy and anti-PD-(L)1 therapy. MICVO is being evaluated as monotherapy in a Phase 1 study in recurrent/metastatic HNSCC and in combination with Merck’s pembrolizumab in a Phase 1/2 study in recurrent/metastatic HNSCC and other solid tumors.
