SNAC-inclusive DehydraTECH-semaglutide tablet - (GLP-1-H26-7)

October 21, 2026: Lexaria Bioscience Corp. (NASDAQ: LEXX) said Human Pilot Study #7 (GLP-1-H26-7) has reached full enrollment, with dosing ongoing on schedule for its oral DehydraTECH-semaglutide (DHT-sema) program. The 5-week human study is comparing two oral DHT-sema compositions against commercially available Wegovy tablets.

The study has three arms and is assessing safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics under fasted pre-dose conditions. Lexaria said the final arm began dosing in early October and is expected to complete dosing in mid-November, after which laboratory sample analyses and reporting will follow. The company plans another update once all dosing is complete.

The trial is testing two formulation changes: a DHT-sema tablet for the first time, in addition to capsules, and SNAC-inclusive tablet and capsule formulations evaluated over a multi-dose, multi-week period in humans. Lexaria said the 5-week duration is intended to reach steady-state semaglutide concentrations. The company noted prior Human Pilot Studies #1 and #2 in 2024 and 2025 included SNAC but were single-dose studies and did not use tablets.
