TNX-801 - (Kenya study)

Oct. 15, 2026: Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: TNXP) announced a World Vaccine Congress Europe presentation and working group session for TNX-801, its live, attenuated, minimally replicative recombinant horsepox vaccine platform for mpox and other infectious diseases. The oral presentation, “TNX-801 Vaccine Platform Safety and Efficacy,” is scheduled for Oct. 21, 2026 at 1:15 p.m. CEST in the Emerging & Infectious Diseases session, with Farooq Nasar presenting. Tonix will also lead a working group, “Vectored Vaccine Platforms: From Design to Improving Efficacy,” on Oct. 20, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. CEST.

The release describes TNX-801 as a preclinical program being developed to prevent mpox, smallpox, and other emerging infectious diseases. Tonix said TNX-801 is in the pre-IND stage and is expected to enter a Phase 1 study in 2027, pending FDA clearance of an IND.
