PBGENE-HBV - (ELIMINATE-B)

October 8, 2026: Precision BioSciences (NASDAQ: DTIL) announced a late-breaking oral presentation at AASLD’s The Liver Meeting 2026 for PBGENE-HBV, its in vivo gene-editing program for chronic hepatitis B being evaluated in the Phase 1 ELIMINATE-B trial. The presentation, titled “Durable pgRNA loss in both HBeAg positive and negative patients treated with PBGENE-HBV supports path towards viral cure,” is scheduled for November 8, 2026, 2:15-2:30 PM MST in Denver.

The company said PBGENE-HBV targets and eliminates HBV cccDNA and that sustained loss of pgRNA supports its path toward viral cure. ELIMINATE-B is enrolling both HBeAg-negative and HBeAg-positive patients across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Oceania to determine the optimal dose and number of administrations for safely eliminating cccDNA. Precision said PBGENE-HBV has FDA Fast Track designation.
