October 1, 2026: Mineralys Therapeutics (NASDAQ: MLYS) announced five abstracts on lorundrostat will be presented at the American Heart Association Hypertension Scientific Sessions 2026 in Arlington, Virginia, October 7-11.
Lorundrostat: An oral presentation on October 8 will cover the randomized crossover Phase 2 Explore-OSA trial in moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea and hypertension, evaluating efficacy and safety of the selective aldosterone synthase inhibitor. The trial’s primary endpoint was change in apnea-hypopnea index after four weeks versus placebo; secondary endpoints included office and nighttime blood pressure.
Lorundrostat: A poster on October 9 will present blood pressure responder analyses from the global Phase 3 Launch-HTN trial in uncontrolled and resistant hypertension. Launch-HTN was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study testing lorundrostat 50 mg, lorundrostat 50 mg with optional titration to 100 mg at week 6, or placebo; the primary endpoint was change from baseline in systolic blood pressure at six weeks versus placebo.
Additional October 9 posters will cover: lorundrostat in a preclinical L-NAME/angiotensin II rat model of cardiorenal injury; real-world spironolactone utilization and treatment patterns in hypertension; and a literature review/meta-analysis on adherence to mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists in uncontrolled and treatment-resistant hypertension.
