October 2, 2026: Perspective Therapeutics (NYSE: CATX) said data from its lapemelanotide zapixetar ([²¹²Pb]VMT01) program were accepted for poster presentation at the SITC 41st Annual Meeting in Phoenix, November 4-8, 2026. The abstract, “A phase I/IIa trial of [²¹²Pb]VMT01 MC1R-targeted alpha-particle mono- and combination-therapy with nivolumab in participants with previously treated unresectable or metastatic melanoma,” will be presented November 6, 2026 (Abstract 571) by Matthew Block of Mayo Clinic.
The program is being studied in a multi-center, open-label dose-escalation/dose-expansion trial (NCT05655312) in patients with histologically confirmed melanoma and MC1R-positive imaging scans.
The company also recapped interim data previously presented at ASCO 2026 (data cutoff March 25, 2026): patients had a median of 4 prior systemic treatment lines; in the 3.0 mCi monotherapy cohort, 2 of 7 treated patients had responses, including one newly observed early response; 6 of 7 patients (86%) had stable disease or partial response; 4 completed all 3 treatments with at least 24 weeks of follow-up, and 2 remained on treatment/in study. [²¹²Pb]VMT01 was reported as well tolerated, with no dose-limiting toxicities, no discontinuations due to adverse events, and no Grade 4/5 treatment-emergent adverse events; 8 of 27 treated patients (30%) had Grade 3 TEAEs. SITC plans to release additional abstract details on November 3, 2026.
