September 28, 2026: Addex Therapeutics (SIX/NASDAQ: ADXN) reported H1/Q2 2026 results and a corporate update centered on its neurology pipeline. The company said it raised USD 2.8 million (CHF 2.3 million gross post-balance-sheet proceeds from July 1 to August 25, 2026) through its ATM facility, which it said will support advancement of its in-house GABAB PAM chronic cough program toward clinical development.
Pipeline/program updates: Addex regained rights to its GABAB positive allosteric modulator portfolio for substance use disorders from Indivior following R&D rationalization after Indivior’s merger with Supernus. The chronic cough GABAB PAM candidate continues in preclinical development and is described as ready to start IND-enabling studies. Neurosterix, in which Addex holds a 20% stake, is progressing NTX-253, an M4 PAM for schizophrenia, through Phase 1, with completion of the study targeted in Q4 2026.
Financially, H1 2026 net loss was CHF 3.456 million versus CHF 3.314 million in H1 2025, with cash and cash equivalents of CHF 0.767 million as of June 30, 2026. Addex also described dipraglurant as a Phase 2-ready asset for brain injury recovery, including post-stroke and traumatic brain injury recovery.
