September 23, 2026: Verastem Oncology (NASDAQ: VSTM) said multiple abstracts on avutometinib plus defactinib in recurrent low-grade serous ovarian cancer (LGSOC) were accepted for presentation at the IGCS 2026 Annual Global Meeting in Montreal, October 1–3, 2026. A late-breaking oral presentation will cover molecular profiling and tumor biomarker analysis from the Phase 2 RAMP 201 trial on October 2, 2026. A seminal oral presentation will report previously disclosed Phase 2 RAMP 201J results in Japanese patients with recurrent LGSOC, also on October 2. A poster-round presentation the same day will show an external control arm analysis comparing avutometinib plus defactinib versus conventional care in LGSOC.
The company also noted that the FDA approved AVMAPKI/FAKZYNJA CO-PACK (avutometinib capsules; defactinib tablets) on May 8, 2025, under accelerated approval for adults with KRAS-mutated recurrent LGSOC after prior systemic therapy; continued approval may depend on confirmatory evidence. Verastem said it is running the Phase 3 confirmatory RAMP 301 trial in recurrent LGSOC with and without a KRAS mutation, comparing the combination against standard chemotherapy or hormonal therapy.
