Sept. 22, 2026: Polyrizon Ltd. (NASDAQ: PLRZ) announced first-patient enrollment in a U.S. clinical study of NASARIX (PL-14), its investigational, drug-free intranasal hydrogel allergy blocker, in adults with seasonal allergic rhinitis. The event marks the company’s transition to a clinical-stage company and NASARIX’s first-in-human clinical evaluation.

The prospective, multicenter, randomized, single-blind, two-arm study is expected to enroll 120 patients across 5 U.S. sites, with 1:1 randomization to NASARIX or a saline nasal spray comparator. The primary efficacy endpoint is the difference in mean daily reflective Total Nasal Symptom Score (rTNSS) between PL-14 and saline over the first 14 treatment days. Safety assessments include frequency and severity of treatment-emergent adverse events and local/overall tolerability.

Polyrizon said the study is intended to generate efficacy and safety data under real-world seasonal allergen exposure, with enrollment continuing across U.S. sites.
