September 16, 2026: Fate Therapeutics (NASDAQ: FATE) said four abstracts on its off-the-shelf iPSC-derived CAR T-cell autoimmune programs, FT819 and FT839, were accepted for presentation at ACR Convergence 2026 in Orlando on November 6-11.
FT819: Two posters on November 9 will present updated clinical data in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), including use without conditioning chemotherapy, feasibility of outpatient administration to expand community-based care, and biomarker associations with fatigue/quality-of-life improvement. A third FT819-related poster will present a Lupus Foundation of America focus group study on patient perspectives toward allogeneic CAR T-cell therapy in SLE.
FT839: A poster on November 8 will cover preclinical data plus design/progress of the COMPLETE trial, a recently FDA-cleared Phase 1/2 study of FT839, a dual-CAR product targeting CD19 and CD38 for autoimmune disease including rheumatoid arthritis. The release says FT839 is advancing into a Phase 1/2 basket trial across rheumatoid arthritis, SLE, systemic sclerosis, ANCA-associated vasculitis, and idiopathic inflammatory myopathy.
The company also said FT819 continues to show an encouraging safety/tolerability profile and supports outpatient, same-day discharge administration.
