September 15, 2026: Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY) said it will present multiple cardiometabolic data sets at EASD 2026 in Milan (September 28-October 2).
Retatrutide: At an EASD symposium on September 30, Lilly will present Phase 3 TRIUMPH-2 results in adults with obesity or overweight and type 2 diabetes; patients lost up to an average 49.6 lb (22.5 kg; 20.8%) and reduced A1C by up to 1.6% at 80 weeks.
Mounjaro (tirzepatide): On September 30, Lilly will present SURPASS-CVOT results in type 2 diabetes with established cardiovascular disease; Mounjaro showed non-inferiority vs Trulicity, with an 8% lower risk of MACE-3 (HR 0.92; 95.3% CI 0.83-1.01), plus greater A1C and weight reductions.
Foundayo (orforglipron): On October 1, Lilly will present Phase 3 ACHIEVE data. In ACHIEVE-4, Foundayo was non-inferior to insulin glargine, with 16% lower MACE-4 risk (HR 0.84; 95.0% CI 0.59-1.20) and 23% lower MACE-3 risk (HR 0.77; 95.0% CI 0.52-1.13). Additional presentations include ACHIEVE-2/3 time-to-goal analyses and ATTAIN-1 functional outcomes.
EloraTZP/eloralintide: Lilly will unveil Phase 2 eloraTZP data on September 30; a poster also reports Phase 1 results showing 17% weight loss over 16 weeks with eloralintide 3 mg plus tirzepatide 5 mg vs 10% with tirzepatide alone.
