September 8, 2026: Evommune, Inc. (NYSE: EVMN) reported topline results from a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, dose-ranging Phase 2b trial of EVO756, an oral MRGPRX2 antagonist, in 121 adults with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis. The 12-week study, with follow-up through Week 14, did not meet the primary endpoint of percent change in Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI) score from baseline at Week 12, and also missed secondary endpoints across all doses studied. EVO756 was generally well tolerated, with a safety profile consistent with prior studies.

Based on these results, the company said it will not advance EVO756 in atopic dermatitis, but plans to continue Phase 2b development of EVO756 in migraine prophylaxis.

Evommune said EVO301, its IL-18BP fusion protein, will become its lead atopic dermatitis program following positive Phase 2a proof-of-concept data. A Phase 2b trial of EVO301 in atopic dermatitis is planned for mid-2027.
