NKX019 - (Ntrust-2)

Aug. 10, 2026: Nkarta, Inc. (NASDAQ: NKTX) reported continued enrollment in its NKX019 autoimmune program, with patients in both Ntrust-1 (NCT06557265) and Ntrust-2 (NCT06733935) being dosed at 4 billion cells per dose for 3 doses (12 billion total) across all indications. The multi-center, open-label, dose-escalation trials are evaluating CD19-targeted CAR-NK cell therapy in systemic sclerosis, idiopathic inflammatory myopathy, ANCA-associated vasculitis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus nephritis, and primary membranous nephropathy.

The company said it recently reached agreement with the FDA on outpatient dosing, and dosing is now underway at community-based sites; patients in both trials may receive additional cycles if needed. Initial clinical data from Ntrust-1 and Ntrust-2 are planned for presentation at a medical conference in 2026.

Both studies assess safety and the potential for durable remission through elimination of pathogenic B cells after lymphodepletion. Patients receive fludarabine/cyclophosphamide or cyclophosphamide alone if baseline cytopenia is significant; no supplemental cytokines or antibody-based therapeutics are used.

Financially, Nkarta reported $243.2 million in cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash, and investments as of June 30, 2026, which it expects will fund operations into 2029.
