September 8, 2026: Faeth Therapeutics (NASDAQ: FTH) announced a virtual KOL event for October 6, 2026 focused on the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway and its lead program PIKTOR ahead of an upcoming Phase 2 catalyst in endometrial cancer.
PIKTOR is an investigational all-oral combination of serabelisib (PI3K-alpha inhibitor) and sapanisertib (mTORC1/mTORC2 inhibitor) designed for vertical blockade of the PAM pathway. The company said the event will review translational work supporting the current Phase 2 dose/schedule, prior Phase 1b clinical data, and the unmet need in endometrial cancer after checkpoint inhibitor therapy.
For endometrial cancer, PIKTOR is being studied in Phase 2 in second-line advanced disease (Study FTH-PIK-201), with topline data anticipated by year-end 2026. Faeth noted that about 80% of endometrial tumors harbor a PAM pathway alteration.
For breast cancer, PIKTOR is also being evaluated in a Phase 1b/2 trial in HR+/HER2- advanced breast cancer (Study FTH-PIK-101); the first patient was dosed in April, and interim data is anticipated in 2027.
