August 26, 2026: Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) reported late-breaker EXPLORER-LTE results from the MAVA-LTE study (NCT03723655) at ESC Congress 2026 for Camzyos (mavacamten) in symptomatic obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM).

EXPLORER-LTE is a single-arm, open-label, dose-blinded extension of the Phase 3 EXPLORER-HCM study; 231 patients enrolled. At 252 weeks, mean change from long-term extension baseline was -38.7 mm Hg in resting LVOT gradient and -55.6 mm Hg in Valsalva LVOT gradient. 97.4% achieved Valsalva LVOT gradient ≤30 mm Hg, 69.6% improved by at least 1 NYHA class, and 59.2% were asymptomatic. Mean LVEF decreased by 10.2% but remained within the normal range. No new safety signals were reported versus the primary EXPLORER-HCM study.

Additional ESC presentations included COLLIGO-HCM, a global retrospective real-world study, and a German observational registry analysis, both described as showing effectiveness and safety consistent with prior Camzyos data, including symptom improvement and reduced LVOT obstruction. A Swedish healthcare resource utilization analysis highlighted the broader burden of HCM/oHCM.
