Aug. 26, 2026: Immuneering Corporation (NASDAQ: IMRX) said its Phase 3 MAPKeeper 301 trial (NCT07562152) is actively enrolling patients with first-line metastatic pancreatic cancer, evaluating atebimetinib plus chemotherapy in a global randomized pivotal study; more than 35 sites are listed on ClinicalTrials.gov.
The company also reiterated previously reported Phase 2a results for atebimetinib 320 mg once daily plus modified gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel in 55 first-line metastatic pancreatic cancer patients: median overall survival was 17.3 months as of the April 24, 2026 data cutoff, with median follow-up of 11.6 months. Among evaluable patients, 84% maintained or gained weight at three months. The only Grade 3 or higher treatment-related adverse events seen in at least 10% of patients were anemia (16%) and neutropenia (18%), which the company said were chemotherapy-related.
The release was framed as commentary following a recent FDA approval of a new second-line pancreatic cancer treatment, but did not provide details on that approved product. It also mentioned upcoming catalysts only generally: timing of dosing and a preliminary readout for a planned Phase 2 lung cancer trial, a Phase 3 topline readout for MAPKeeper 301, and the start of IND-enabling studies for a second DCI program.
