Zilebesiran - (KARDIA-3)

August 22, 2026: Alnylam Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ALNY) said it will present new clinical and real-world data at the ESC Congress 2026 (August 28-31, Munich) across its ATTR and hypertension programs.

For AMVUTTRA (vutrisiran) in transthyretin amyloidosis, presentations include multiple HELIOS-B Phase 3 analyses in ATTR-CM: a late-breaking analysis of treatment effect by baseline tafamidis use, post hoc analyses on preservation of intrinsic capacity/healthy aging, safety, and outcomes by sex, plus a pooled Phase 3 analysis of vutrisiran and patisiran. A French real-world study, Amylo'ExTTRa, will examine extra-cardiac manifestations in ATTR-CM. The company also noted prior HELIOS-B results showing reduced risk of all-cause mortality and recurrent CV events versus placebo through 36 months by 28.2% in the overall population and 32.8% in the monotherapy population.

For zilebesiran, Alnylam will present a subgroup analysis from the Phase 2 KARDIA-3 trial evaluating zilebesiran with a diuretic in uncontrolled hypertension. Zilebesiran is also being studied in the Phase 3 CV outcomes trial ZENITH. The release does not provide new efficacy results from the upcoming ESC presentations.
