Aug. 21, 2026: AbbVie (NYSE: ABBV) announced WCLC 2026 lung cancer presentations spanning ABBV-1480, telisotuzumab adizutecan (Temab-A), ABBV-706, and telisotuzumab vedotin.

ABBV-1480 (RC148): Phase 1b data in first-line advanced NSCLC with platinum chemotherapy will be presented orally on Sept. 15, 2026. At the 10 mg/kg dose selected as the recommended Phase 3 dose, ORR was 90.0% in squamous NSCLC (27/30) and 75.9% in non-squamous NSCLC (22/29). Common TRAEs were decreased white blood cells, neutrophils, platelets, and anemia; no grade 3 or higher hemorrhages were seen with the 10 mg combinations. AbbVie said the safety profile supports ongoing Phase 3 development; a Phase 3 first-line squamous NSCLC study will be presented as a trials-in-progress poster on Sept. 14.

Temab-A: AbbVie highlighted the Phase 1b/2 M24-536 study (NCT06772623) of Temab-A plus a PD-1 inhibitor as a platinum-free first-line regimen in advanced non-squamous NSCLC, with c-Met and PD-L1 biomarker analyses; this will be presented Sept. 14. Temab-A is also being studied in EGFR-mutated NSCLC with or without osimertinib (NCT07155187).

ABBV-706: In relapsed/refractory SCLC after platinum, previously reported ORR was 82% (n=17). New safety analyses from 240 monotherapy patients showed generally manageable hematologic and GI toxicity; nausea 35.8%, vomiting 17.5%, diarrhea 10.8%, grade 3 or higher treatment-related pneumonitis/ILD 1.7%, and serious TRAEs 12.5%. ABBV-706 is in Phase 3 monotherapy (NCT07365241) and Phase 2 with atezolizumab (NCT07155174). Real-world data showed SEZ6 expression in 91% of SCLC overall and over 96% with brain or liver metastases.
