Aug. 20, 2026: Polyrizon Ltd. (NASDAQ: PLRZ) said it completed contracting with all five U.S. clinical sites for the first-in-human NASARIX Allergy Blocker (PL-14) study, an operational milestone ahead of enrollment.

NASARIX is being evaluated in seasonal allergic rhinitis in a prospective, multicenter, randomized, single-blind, two-arm trial planned to enroll up to 120 patients. Subjects will be randomized 1:1 to NASARIX or an isotonic saline nasal spray control.

The primary endpoint is the difference between treatment groups in mean daily reflective Total Nasal Symptom Score (rTNSS) over the first 14 treatment days. Safety assessments include treatment-emergent adverse events and local/overall tolerability. Secondary measures are expected to include instantaneous TNSS, rhinoconjunctivitis-related quality of life, symptom-free days, and use of permitted relief medication.

Following site contracting, the company said it is moving to patient pre-screening and enrollment preparations. Because the trial depends on real-world seasonal allergen exposure, recruitment is planned to align with relevant allergy seasons, with pollen counts and weather conditions monitored to support timing.
