Aficamten - (ACACIA-HCM)

Aug. 20, 2026: Cytokinetics (NASDAQ: CYTK) announced ESC Congress 2026 presentations for aficamten in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The key catalyst is a Hot Line presentation of primary results from ACACIA-HCM, a Phase 3 trial of aficamten in symptomatic non-obstructive HCM, scheduled for Aug. 28, 2026 in Munich; the company says these results follow previously announced positive topline data. A Late-Breaking Science presentation on Aug. 29 will cover aficamten’s effects on cardiac structure and function in ACACIA-HCM.

Also on Aug. 29, Cytokinetics will present MAPLE-HCM data comparing aficamten versus metoprolol monotherapy in obstructive HCM according to pre-trial treatment.

Additional posters will present real-world HCM burden data, including the impact of peak provoked LVOT gradients on health-related quality of life and a nationwide study in France on the clinical burden of obstructive HCM.

Cytokinetics will host an investor event/webcast on Aug. 28, 2026. The release states MYQORZO (aficamten) is already approved in the U.S., China, EU, and UK for adults with symptomatic obstructive HCM, and that after positive ACACIA-HCM topline results the company plans to discuss the non-obstructive HCM data with FDA and other regulators.
