TTI-109

Aug. 12, 2026: Tvardi Therapeutics (NASDAQ: TVRD) announced an August 19, 2026 KOL webinar on ulcerative colitis (UC) that will include new company data, a review of Phase 1 healthy volunteer results for TTI-109, and management’s planned clinical development strategy for TTI-109 in UC.

TTI-109: Tvardi said it plans to initiate a clinical study in moderate-to-severe UC in 2027, subject to IND clearance and additional funding. The planned trial’s primary endpoint is safety; the secondary endpoint is clinical remission at 12 weeks; exploratory pharmacodynamic endpoints include serum/tissue biomarkers and single nucleotide polymorphism analyses. The webinar will discuss the rationale for targeting STAT3 in UC and how TTI-109 could fit into the treatment landscape.

TTI-101: The company also said it is conducting a Phase 1b/2 clinical trial in hepatocellular carcinoma (NCT05440708).

The event will feature Randy Longman, MD, PhD of Weill Cornell Medicine, who will discuss the current UC treatment landscape and unmet need.
