Aug. 3, 2026: AIM ImmunoTech (NYSE: AIM) said the final patient received the last dose in the Phase 2 DURIPANC trial of Ampligen (rintatolimod) plus AstraZeneca’s Imfinzi (durvalumab) for metastatic pancreatic cancer, reaching this treatment milestone ahead of schedule. DURIPANC is an investigator-initiated, open-label, single-center study run with AstraZeneca and Erasmus Medical Center in the Netherlands.
Primary endpoint analysis is expected to begin in December 2026, with topline results in Q1 2027. The primary endpoint is clinical benefit rate at 24 weeks, defined as stable disease, partial response, or complete response. Overall survival analysis is expected to begin in June 2027, 49 weeks after the final subject’s first dose. Secondary/exploratory endpoints include overall survival, progression-free survival, immune profiling, and quality of life.
The company also cited exploratory observations from a Dutch Ministry of Health-approved Named Patient Program of more than 50 post-standard-of-care pancreatic cancer patients treated with Ampligen monotherapy: in the subset with neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio below 4.5, median overall survival was 34.8 months versus 12.5 months for historical controls. AIM said these findings were not designed to assess efficacy and require confirmation in Phase 2/3 trials.
