CMND-100

July 30, 2026: Clearmind Medicine Inc. (NASDAQ: CMND) reported positive safety and tolerability results from Part A of its ongoing FDA-regulated Phase I/II trial of CMND-100 (oral MEAI; 5-methoxy-2-aminoindane) for Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD). In the sequential single-ascending-dose portion in healthy volunteers, all 24 participants across four cohorts (~20 mg, 40 mg, 80 mg, 160 mg; six per cohort) completed treatment per protocol. The study met its primary endpoint of safety/tolerability; no serious adverse events were observed, and CMND-100 showed a consistent safety profile through the highest dose tested.

The multicenter trial is being conducted under FDA oversight at sites in the U.S. and Israel, including Yale School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, and Hadassah Medical Center. The company said it is completing assessment of the full Part A dataset and, assuming continued favorable findings, intends to progress to subsequent stages including dosing patients with AUD.
