July 27, 2026: IDEAYA Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDYA) announced it has initiated Part 2 monotherapy expansion in its ongoing Phase 1/2 trial of IDE892, an MTA-cooperative PRMT5 inhibitor, in MTAP-deleted solid tumors with a focus on NSCLC and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The company said projected efficacious target human exposures have been achieved with 24-hour target EC90 coverage, enabling the expansion; Phase 1/2 dose escalation continues in parallel and the maximum tolerated dose has not yet been reached.

Combination development updates: dose escalation of IDE892 + MAT2A inhibitor IDE397 is ongoing in MTAP-deleted NSCLC and PDAC; first patient in for the combination was achieved in mid-2026. IDEAYA also disclosed a clinical collaboration with Roche to evaluate IDE892 with Roche’s Phase 1 pan-RAS inhibitor RG6505 in MTAP-deleted PDAC, with first patient in targeted for H2 2026.

Pipeline/regulatory: a proprietary CDKN2A program for MTAP-deleted tumors is in preclinical toxicology with a target IND submission in 1H 2027. IDEAYA plans an MTAP/CDKN2A, KRAS, and Pancreatic Cancer R&D Day in Q4 2026.
