July 23, 2026: IMUNON, Inc. (NASDAQ: IMNN) said new translational and clinical data for IMNN-001 (a DNA-based IL-12 immunotherapy delivered locally via the TheraPlas platform) in frontline advanced ovarian cancer will be presented in a poster at the inaugural AACR Conference on Drug Discovery and Development (AACR D3) in Boston, July 21–24, 2026.
The poster highlights results from the randomized, controlled Phase 2 OVATION-2 study: IMNN-001 plus neoadjuvant/adjuvant paclitaxel/carboplatin was reported as safe, achieved local IL-12 delivery, and induced anti-tumor immune responses. The abstract-associated analysis showed a numerical median overall survival increase of >13 months vs chemotherapy alone (40.5 vs 27.6 months); the company notes recently announced final results showing a 14.7-month median OS increase (45.1 vs 30.4 months). Translational analyses showed improved intratumoral immune cell ratios (CD8+/Tregs and CD8+/CD4+). No cytokine release syndrome or higher incidence of immune-related events was observed in the experimental arm.
IMUNON said these findings support the rapidly recruiting pivotal Phase 3 OVATION-3 trial intended to confirm safety and survival benefit and, if successful, support a BLA filing and approval.
