July 20, 2026: Biohaven Ltd. (NYSE: BHVN) announced new Phase 1 data for BHV-1530, an FGFR3-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) with a proprietary topoisomerase I (TopoIx) payload, will be presented at ESMO Congress 2026 (abstract 1019P) on October 23, 2026 (15:15–16:00) in Madrid. The presentation will update early Phase 1 open-label dose-escalation results previously disclosed at Biohaven’s R&D Day (May 27, 2026) in patients with advanced solid tumors.
Early activity described includes tumor reductions in patients with FGFR3-altered and wild-type FGFR3-overexpressing tumors, including confirmed partial responses in heavily pretreated patients across multiple tumor types. One highlighted case was a metastatic urothelial cancer patient with an FGFR3-TACC3 fusion who had progressed after four prior lines (including Padcev, pembrolizumab, and two FGFR small molecules) and tolerated BHV-1530 without FGFR-related toxicity.
Safety in the Phase 1 dose-escalation has shown no dose-limiting toxicities and no FGFR inhibitor–class toxicities (e.g., hyperphosphatemia, nail disorders, stomatitis, retinopathy).
Biohaven also entered a clinical supply agreement with Regeneron to evaluate BHV-1530 in combination with cemiplimab (Libtayo) in solid tumors; combination cohorts are planned to start in 2H 2026.
