July 15, 2026: Veradermics, Incorporated (NYSE: MANE) reported positive topline results from open-label Phase 2 Study 207 of VDPHL01 (oral extended-release minoxidil) in females with mild-to-moderate pattern hair loss. After 6 months of VDPHL01 4.5 mg once daily or 4.5 mg twice daily, mean non-vellus target area hair count increased by 22.7 hairs/cm² (once daily) and 23.3 hairs/cm² (twice daily). On the Androgenetic Alopecia Impact Rating Scale (AAIRS), 88.9% (once daily) and 90.0% (twice daily) of participants reported “improved” or “much improved” hair coverage at Month 6; investigators graded 100% (once daily) and 90% (twice daily) as improved at Month 6, with improvement observed as early as Month 2.
Safety through Month 6 was described as favorable, with no treatment-related serious adverse events and no cardiac adverse events of special interest.
Upcoming catalysts: Veradermics expects topline data in 1H 2027 from registration-directed Phase 2/3 Study 306 in female pattern hair loss, and anticipates topline results in 2H 2026 from Phase 3 male Study 304; it also referenced April topline results from male registration-directed Phase 2/3 Study 302 and February enrollment completion in Study 304.
