July 14, 2026: Annexon, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANNX) announced it will give an oral presentation at the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) 44th Annual Scientific Meeting (July 15–18, 2026; Montréal) on vonaprument (formerly ANX007) in dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD) with geographic atrophy (GA). The July 18, 2026 talk (“Baseline Characteristics Associated with Loss of BCVA ≥15 ETDRS Letters in Participants with Geographic Atrophy in the Phase 2 ARCHER Study”) will discuss Phase 2 ARCHER findings identifying baseline factors associated with ≥15-letter best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) loss, to inform patient selection for the ongoing pivotal Phase 3 ARCHER II trial.

In the completed, randomized, double-masked, sham-controlled Phase 2 ARCHER trial, vonaprument showed statistically significant, time- and dose-dependent protection from confirmed BCVA ≥15-letter loss and benefits on other prespecified visual function measures (including low luminance visual acuity/deficit) and retinal structure (OCT/ellipsoid zone). Safety through month 12 was described as generally well-tolerated, with no increase in choroidal neovascularization vs sham and no retinal vasculitis events reported.

ARCHER II (Phase 3; 659 GA patients) completed enrollment in July 2025; topline pivotal data are expected in Q4 2026. Vonaprument has FDA Fast Track and EMA PRIME designations for GA.
