Pevifoscorvir (ALG-000184) - (B-SUPREME)

July 13, 2026: Aligos Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALGS) announced completion of enrollment in both cohorts of its global Phase 2 B-SUPREME trial (NCT06963710) evaluating pevifoscorvir sodium monotherapy versus tenofovir disoproxil fumarate in untreated adults with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. Enrollment is complete for Part 1a (HBeAg+, 131 participants) and Part 2a (HBeAg-, 114 participants). Due to over-enrollment in Part 1a ahead of the planned second interim analysis, the second interim analysis for sample size re-estimation will not be performed.

B-SUPREME is a randomized, double-blind, active-controlled, multicenter 48-week study in ~250 subjects. The primary endpoint for the HBeAg+ cohort is HBV DNA <LLOQ (10 IU/mL; target detected or target not detected), and for the HBeAg- cohort is HBV DNA <LLOQ (10 IU/mL; target not detected). Topline safety and efficacy data are expected in late Q3 2027.
