July 6, 2026: Fate Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: FATE) announced that preliminary clinical data for its off-the-shelf anti-CD19 CAR T-cell candidate FT819 will be presented at the ISSCR 2026 Annual Meeting (Montréal; July 8–11, 2026) during the Clinical Trials Update oral session.

FT819 (Phase 1 basket trial, autoimmune diseases) — Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) arm: As of the June 12, 2026 data cutoff, four treatment-refractory SSc patients had been treated (three under Regimen A with less-intensive conditioning chemotherapy—cyclophosphamide or bendamustine alone—and one under Regimen B with no conditioning). All participants achieved rCRISS25 or higher and showed a meaningful mean improvement in Modified Rodnan Skin Score (mRSS) at 3 months post-treatment. Safety/tolerability: no cytokine release syndrome (CRS), ICANS, GvHD, hypogammaglobulinemia, or deaths were reported in SSc participants.

Upcoming presentation: Late-breaking abstract oral presentation, “Emerging Data with FT819…Without Fludarabine,” scheduled for Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 9:45 AM EDT.

Additional program note: FT819 is also being evaluated in SLE in the basket trial, and the company plans a Phase 2 potentially registrational trial in lupus nephritis.
