July 6, 2026: Curis, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRIS) reported an enrollment milestone in its TakeAim CLL Study (CA-4948-203; NCT07271667), an open-label Phase 2 trial evaluating emavusertib (CA-4948; IRAK4/FLT3 inhibitor) in combination with zanubrutinib in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). The company said it has consented the first six patients; it previously announced (June 26, 2026) that 11 clinical sites had opened for enrollment.
Curis reaffirmed guidance to dose the initial five CLL patients by the end of July 2026 and said initial CLL data are expected in December 2026. The study enrolls patients on zanubrutinib for at least 12 months who are in partial response (PR) or PR with lymphocytosis (PR-L) and are MRD-positive as measured by the clonoSEQ assay.
Curis also noted emavusertib is being evaluated in the TakeAim Lymphoma Phase 1/2 study (CA-4948-101) with ibrutinib in relapsed/refractory primary CNS lymphoma (PCNSL) and that its AML monotherapy/combination studies are substantially complete.
