July 6, 2026: CervoMed Inc. (NASDAQ: CRVO) announced five scientific presentations at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) in London (July 12–15, 2026) highlighting clinical and translational work on neflamapimod, an oral p38α kinase inhibitor in development for dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB).

Neflamapimod (DLB):

  • July 12 poster: exploratory Phase 2 analyses on slowing clinical worsening in DLB, focusing on patients with low plasma p‑tau181 and higher plasma drug concentrations.
  • July 13 poster: MRI-based data from the RewinD‑LB Phase 2 trial on neflamapimod’s impact on progression of basal forebrain atrophy (a DLB progression biomarker).
  • July 13 poster: exposure–response and PK/PD analyses for inhibition of IL‑1β signaling, including in vitro concentration–response and RewinD‑LB relationships.
  • July 14 poster: first clinical data for 80 mg twice-daily dosing from a 24‑week open-label trial assessing safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics.

DLB outcomes measurement:

  • July 15 poster: development of a Goal Area Inventory for DLB to support Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) as an individualized treatment-response measure.

Upcoming catalysts: interim biomarker data from an ongoing Phase 2a neflamapimod trial in nfvPPA expected early 4Q 2026; first patient dosing in the EXPERTS‑ALS Phase 2a trial expected in 4Q 2026. The company also cited prior (Nov 2025) FDA alignment on a potential registration path in DLB and is seeking a strategic partner to advance to Phase 3 in DLB.
